Top projects in the 2016 SIPA Building Excellence Awards feature company’s structural insulated panels (SIPs).
As a testament to the energy-saving features and architectural adaptability of it advanced panels, several projects built with Premier Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) won honors in the Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA) 2016 Building Excellence Awards. Of note, the Rocky Mountain Institute Innovation Center – overall competition winner (non-residential) – used Premier SIPs for its walls and roofs to help use 74% less energy than the average building in its Colorado climate zone. Premier SIPs were also used in two of the award program’s runner-up categories: single family houses under 3,000 sq. ft. and commercial buildings.
